An excellent analysis indicating research, intellectual engagement and ability to compare and contrast to music videos from the same artist, one performance once conceptual.
The issue though is that you have moved away from the focus of the question which is that you APPLY THE THEORY OF NARRATIVE TO A MUSIC VIDEO OR VIDEOS OF YOUR CHOICE.
In order for you to raise your grade to a confident Level 4 I suggest you apply the appropriate theories of narrative to Bowie's "Let's Dance" which is a combination of performance with a strong concept related to the position of the indigenous Australians...you could research this.
1) There is a possible use of analepsis in Let's Dance as one is not sure whether the urban sequences are real. Note alteration in colour tone which conventionally signals action that is not in real time.
2) Binary Opposition - Claude Levi Straus. Images of the outback juxtaposed with images of Sydney suggesting colonisation and the loss of place and dream time for the aboriginal people.
3) Split screen...
You can add to your case study within the next month or so.
As a conclusion discuss the concept of narrative with regard to your own music video production.
Do not alter anything in your case study, just add or do another titled Applying the concept of narrative to Let's Dance (David Bowie)and to my own production.
Say after Feb half term. But was is prophetic....you submitted this case study only 3 days before Bowie died and on Bowie's 69th birthday... January 8, 1947!!!!!
